The first Cowley County Pride event took place in 2019 and was organized by JJ Proctor and Roger Moon. The global pandemic in 2020-2021 and the tragic passing of Roger Moon in 2022 halted a repeat event.

In 2023, a small group of community members volunteered to recapture the celebration and bring Pride back to Cowley County.

Today, we collaborate with educators, local religious organizations, advocacy agencies, healthcare providers, non-profits, artists, and businesses who are committed to accepting all people.

This event brings our community together through positive and inclusive activities that are welcoming to all ages.
